Study in New Zealand

You need a valid Student Visa to study in New Zealand. Each year tens of thousands of students come to study in New Zealand to gain internationally recognised education. Prior to Covid19, there were around 120,000 international students enrolled in our tertiary institutions and schools. This number dropped 62% during Covid19 owing to border closures.

The borders are now open, and a flood of international students are expected to come to New Zealand to study. New Zealand provides high class study opportunities at Government-approved tertiary institutions, colleges, Private Training Establishments (PTE), Primary and Secondary Schools.

There are 8 Universities and around 2500 schools in New Zealand. The New Zealand Qualification Authority (NZQA) is the Government body that is responsible for administering educational assessment and qualifications so that the courses offered are of the highest quality.

English competency is a key requirement to study in New Zealand. For migrants, the IELTS test with the right pass band is required for tertiary studies and employment.

Tertiary students can also work while studying. After completing studies, eligible students can continue to work full-time and apply for permanent residency. We have partnered with competent and experienced student placement agents to recommend and secure placement at the right university, tertiary institutions, or best schools in New Zealand.

Our IELTS teachers can also help you gain the right IELTS band to meet entry requirements.
